Principal Engineer, Construction Safety

Licensed civil engineer in DOB's Construction Safety Engineering unit who reviews drawings and visits high-risk sites citywide, including excavation, support of excavation, interior demolition and scaffold jobs. The role also responds to incidents and construction failures and gives technical help to inspectors and prosecutors. A New York State PE license is required.
